He served at Fort Hays in 1944 in the 5th Service Command, U.S. Army Veterinary Corps.
Doc founded the first veterinary hospital in Virginia Beach – which is now known as Beach Pet Hospital on Great Neck Road.
Doc recently celebrated his 90th birthday!
